Welcome.  Even the youngest children can understand Bible lessons, recognize themselves as God’s children, and begin a special relationship

with their faith family.  Children grow in faith as they grow in years.  Children, a few months old to three years of age, are cared for in a clean,

comfortable and well-staffed nursery.  Children will learn about:

Jesus and understand that God loves them through his only Son

Learn that the church can be a place where they are loved

Discover gifts such as their minds, bodies, families and friends

Even as babies are learning to crawl; toddlers are learning to speak; and preschoolers are starting to cooperate with their playmates, they

can begin to explore and appreciate God’s world through Jesus’ life.

2008-09 Program:   Children will discover that they are very important to Jesus, and special in His eyes because they are God’s children.  It’s

well that so many children’s songs emphasize the fact that Jesus loves them.  It’s a good lesson to hear over and over again while children

are still young.  Perhaps the greatest hymn ever written was that wonderful children’s hymn:  “Jesus loves me, this I know, For the Bible

tells me so.  It’s a wonderful testimony about Jesus.  We, too, should sing those words with greater joy and deeper gratitude than they

because Jesus loves us so.
