Welcome. Our Adult Sunday School class promotes
spiritual growth through Christian education, inspiration, fellowship and
critical questions.
There are
times when discussions about biblical history, faithfulness, social issues and
the challenges we all face in various stages of our lives –
invite deeper
truths. There are also times when all
that we are – our hopes, regrets, sins, dreams, sorrows, memories, indifference,
confusion
and clarity –
comes together in the gathering of God’s people surrounded by grace and bound
together and nourished by renewed faithfulness.
The reality
of living is that none of us ever manages to make 100% percent of ourselves
fully at home in the presence of the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. Like all congregations we experiment and
practice many ways to say to our members and friends, “We love you. We’re thankful that we
are able to
worship with you from week to week.
We’re a church made up of people with many beliefs, but one faith. This is an invitation to join

Program: Branding
is an interesting marketing tool that is used to identify the goods and
services of one seller or group of sellers and
to
differentiate them from those of other sellers.
That’s a pretty simply way to describe what branding is, but it doesn’t
give you the whole
picture of
what branding is really about. Branding
is not about getting your target market to choose you over the
competition. It's about getting
your
prospects to see you as the only one that provides a solution to your
problem.
Jesus
forged a new spiritual path. It was
radical and inviting. It was contemplative
and active. It was rooted in the sacred
scriptures of his
religious
traditions and history, but open to anyone willing to take the step or risk to
come closer. No matter what you believe
about Jesus or
how you feel
about the movement that bears his name, the
When you
understand and live out the way of Jesus you can take the step to live out a
faith that is marked by Jesus’ brand.

– Oct.26, 2008: A New Earth. Echart Tolle presents readers with a look at
the current state of humanity. Humanity
now, perhaps
more than any
other time in history, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving
world.
• Nov.
2-30, 2008: Unbinding the Gospel. This study will be an introduction to a more
hopeful, powerful and joy-filled way for people to learn
to share
their faith. Many of us, cringe when we
hear the “E” word (evangelism). This
series of discussions will challenge, tease and charm us
back into
telling our stories of God’s faithfulness and grace. (A participant guide for the study is
available for $12.00).
• Dec.
7-28, 2008: Our Favorite Hymns. Come hear the stories and origin of some of
your favorite hymns. It’s also an
opportunity to learn how
the writers
and musicians of these hymns were influenced and tested by their own struggles
and joys with faith and faithfulness served to nurture
some of the
most beautiful music and words we ever heard.
