RELIEF EFFORTS CONTINUE

Massive efforts to provide aid to the peoples of Columbia and Haiti, in the wake of the recent earthquakes and after shocks, continue to flow from throughout the world. Although the need is extreme and real, some scams are exploiting this cause. We can affirm the legitimacy and effectiveness of our denomination's process. Your gifts, through our "Week of Compassion" are reaching the people for whom the assistance is intended. "Week of Compassion" gifts can be made at any time. You can give designated gifts through the congregation (note purpose on your memo line) or on-line (www.disciples.org). The on-line option is able to credit your gift as a part of our congregation's giving.

LENTEN SUPPERS

We began our Lenten Suppers on Ash Wednesday. Each of you is invited to join us on any of the remaining Wednesdays of Lent. We gather at 6:30pm and share a light meal and participate in meditational conversation. If you are willing to provide the meal or lead the discussion, please see the sign-up sheet in the narthex. Lenten booklets, "Fellowship of Prayer" are available in the narthex. Feel free to pick one up, even if you cannot be with us on Wednesdays.

We blend a vibrant faith with teaching what Jesus taught. The church is one place for parents and children to experience God's grace and presence in their lives. We have a wide range of programs for learning (church school) and sharing, as well as, opportunities for connection caring, and service for and with others.
